Flexible remote work policy
At Zaga, Your well-being and harmony are important to us. After three months in your new role, you may have the chance to travel and work remotely. However, please note that any travel plans must be approved in advance by both the client and our team. Reach out to our VP of HR Maria Pérez (maria.perez@zagalabs.com), and our Account and Delivery Manager Ana López (ana.lopez@zagalabs.com).
Each travel request will be carefully reviewed on a case-by-case basis, considering various factors. This approach ensures that while you manage your tasks efficiently, our clients won't be affected by issues like time zone differences, unstable internet connections, and related challenges.

Guidelines
01
Client Impact
As soon as you start planning to work remotely you must be aligned with your client and then with Zaga. If you have the green light to move forward with your plans, you must communicate this formally to HR and the Account and Delivery Manager. Your remote work should not compromise client relationships or project timelines. Maintain effective communication and ensure seamless collaboration.
02
Technology Readiness
Verify your remote work setup before traveling. Stable internet, necessary software, and secure connections are essential. If you don't have all these points covered, Zaga is not going to accept your temporary remote work request.
03
Time Zone Consideration
Choose locations that minimize time zone differences with our clients. Coordinate with your team to manage meetings and deadlines effectively. It is you who must adjust your routines to the team and client's needs while you are traveling. The team shouldn't feel that you are in a different location.
04
Responsiveness
Stay accessible during regular business hours, aligned with the client's needs. You should be able to respond to your Slack messages, emails, and meetings based on the time agreements you've made with your client and with Zaga.
Embrace this opportunity to explore and remain productive. Remember, professionalism and client satisfaction remain paramount. Safe travels!
